These colourful studs have beetles hand-drawn into their surface in enamel. The enamelled section has some lovely movement when worn.

These enamelled earrings are made entirely by hand in my studio in Glasgow. I hand saw and form the oval shape in copper then enamel with many layers of colour. I drawn on the beetles by hand before firing in the kiln at over 800 degrees. The enamel designs, colours and patterns are inspired by drawings I have made of beetles.
